Choose 4 or 3 monthly interest-free payments due on the first of each month. Student accounts and receivables will continue to provide a notice of ebill each month, as long as fees are available on your KU account. Please use KU`s monthly ebill to make sure you pay the corresponding amounts to Nelnet. If there are discrepancies between what you owe KU and your payment plan with Nelnet, you are responsible for adjusting your Nelnet payment account. Underpayment fees may result in late fees from the company at the end of the payment plan registration. The ESS assesses late charges after the 15th of each month. In addition, in the future, you will no longer be able to register or receive a transcript until your KU account is fully paid. Once you have signed up for a Nelnet payment plan, all monthly payments to Nelnet must be payable. Nelnet sends a monthly invoice to the student or other payer until the student`s payment plan is fully paid or cancelled.
